Salary Calculator
Choose an occupation, a city and your years of experience: we give you the range of salaries posted in public job postings over the past three months. Under 30 postings, we don't give a figure: it wouldn't be honest.
You get your realistic range, the median for your experience bracket and the median for your city. Free, no account: nothing you enter is saved.

Where these figures come from.
From salaries posted in public job postings over the past three months, never from a self-reported salary or an estimate. Under 30 postings, no figure.
The calculator answers one question: your range. The details (distribution, experience levels, other cities, sources and method) are on the salary pages written by the team.
Then, in the app
A figure, a reason, a plan B.
When an offer comes in, panacheo compares it with your range and writes a reply for you. You review it, you change it, and nothing goes out without your green light.

Dear Ms. Bélanger,
Thank you for your offer: the role and the team match what I'm looking for.
Given my experience in claims analytics and the market for this role, I propose $86,000. If that isn't possible, a fourth week of vacation would allow me to accept quickly.
I look forward to discussing it this week,
Amina Diallo

Frequently asked questions
Where do the figures come from?
From salaries posted in public job postings over the past three months, matched to the official occupational classification (NOC 2021 in Canada, O*NET-SOC in the United States). Never an estimate without a sample.
Why is there no figure for my occupation?
Under 30 postings, a figure wouldn't be honest: a single very high or very low posting would be enough to skew it.
What does “realistic range” mean?
The middle half of the salaries posted for your experience bracket: a quarter of postings pay less, a quarter pay more.
Does panacheo negotiate for me?
No. It prepares the email and the words for the call, then you decide. Negotiating is one of the things panacheo never does on its own.
